IssueLinker

IssueLinker Terms of Service

Last updated 15 September 2026

This terms of service covers IssueLinker, the HubSpot app. It does not cover the other apps we publish or our custom integration service, each of which has its own.

The agreement

These terms apply between you, the HubSpot account that installs the app, and StackTie, which publishes it. Installing IssueLinker means you accept them. If you are installing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to agree to them for that company.

What the app does

Link a HubSpot ticket to a Linear, Jira or GitHub issue and keep both sides current.

It requires a HubSpot account and a Linear, Jira and GitHub account. You are responsible for holding valid access to both, and for the configuration you choose: which records sync, which fields map, and in which direction.

Your data stays yours

You keep ownership of everything in your HubSpot and Linear, Jira and GitHub accounts. We claim no rights over it. We use it only to operate the app for you, exactly as described in the privacy policy.

  • We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
  • We never use your tickets or issues to train models.
  • We never read issues outside the projects you connect.

Payment

IssueLinker is billed as described on its HubSpot Marketplace listing.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at any time and the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate part months.

Support

Support is by email at michael@stacktie.com, answered by the person who wrote the app, normally within one working day.

The app depends on the HubSpot and Linear, Jira and GitHub APIs. When one of them changes, is rate limited, or is unavailable, the sync can be delayed or interrupted. We fix what is ours to fix and say so plainly in the sync log, which records what synced, what did not, and why.

No warranty, and the limit of our liability

The app is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and it is not a backup: keep your own.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss.

Ending it

Uninstall the app from HubSpot at any time. That revokes our access immediately and stops any further billing at the end of the current period. We may suspend an installation that is abusing the API, attempting to circumvent the metered limits, or unpaid after a reminder, and we will email you first wherever that is possible.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to the address on the installation before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
