Wix Sync by StackTie

HubSpot and Wix

Install Wix Sync by StackTie

Every lead from your site arrives in HubSpot as a real contact, with the answers they typed in real fields.

Two approvals, about 5 minutes. Free for 14 days and you do not need a card to start. You can stop at either screen and nothing is created.

Not on the HubSpot marketplace yet. Same app, same approval screens, installed from here instead.

What you’ll need

Worth a quick check now. Any one of these missing will stop you halfway through.

  • You are a super admin in HubSpot. Only a super admin can approve an app.
  • You can install apps on the Wix site. Wix grants access per site.
  • You know which site to start with. Several can feed one HubSpot account, one at a time.

How it works

Three screens, in this order. Nothing happens until you have approved both systems.

  1. Approve on your Wix site

Wix asks which site, then shows what the app can read. Nothing to fill in first.

  2. Approve in HubSpot

Pick the account you want leads in. That is the whole sign-up. No password, no form.

  3. Choose which forms count

Contacts start syncing straight away. Turn on the forms you care about and match their questions to HubSpot fields.

What you’re approving

Both systems will show you this before you agree, so nothing here is a surprise. It is written out in full, including the parts we would rather not have to ask for.

More detail in the privacy policy.

Wix

  • Read the contacts on your site.
  • Read your forms and what people submitted, including questions you added yourself.
  • Nothing is written back to Wix, and nothing is deleted.

HubSpot

  • Create and update contacts and their properties, so a Wix answer becomes a real HubSpot field you can filter and report on.
  • Record form submissions, so the workflows you already built still fire and the data shows up in your form reports.

You’ll know it worked when

Fill in one of your own forms. The contact and their answers appear in HubSpot, and the activity log names the record either way.

If it does not, that is our bug, not your setup. Email michael@stacktie.com and a person will read it.
